Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Luca Espinar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Bartoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Roque Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When atletic Luprechauns's Aldo Pe in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 47th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Severiano Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than atletic Luprechauns.
