With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Décio Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced Kellerbräu FC's goalkeeper Décio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fortunato Schumacher in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Kellerbräu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kellerbräu FC's Décio Garcia did a great save. After a rather tough play, Kellerbräu FC's Rudi Bremke got a free kick in the 38th minute. Décio Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Kellerbräu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Décio Garcia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hans-Jürgen Grunert kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kellerbräu FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Garcia came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Kellerbräu FC's Décio Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Kellerbräu FC from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Décio Garcia made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kellerbräu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Décio Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kellerbräu FC's Décio Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Kellerbräu FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kellerbräu FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lars Oliver Baur hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Kellerbräu FC and deserved their victory. The Kellerbräu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
