Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dündar Ülkenur took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vacib Bartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Figueiredo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Los Tatangelos got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Flores ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Manuel Donzel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Flores was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Tatangelos's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Los Tatangelos's corner Paulo Flores fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacib Bartu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vacib Bartu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Dündar Ülkenur sent off a good shot on target. Gürbüz Hendekli hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vacib Bartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Dündar Ülkenur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Dündar Ülkenur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Manuel Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vacib Bartu made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vacib Bartu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gürbüz Hendekli came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vacib Bartu having to interfere. Jorge Figueiredo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Jorge Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Los Tatangelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. When Los Tatangelos's Jorge Figueiredo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Dündar Ülkenur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Tatangelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dündar Ülkenur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Tatangelos's Gaffar Gülsoy was substituted for Paulo Flores. Los Tatangelos's Adérito Aleixo was substituted for Manuel Donzel. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vacib Bartu having to interfere. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Vacib Bartu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vacib Bartu came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 93rd minute.
