Jorge Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Tatangelos. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Figueiredo in the 9th minute of play. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Paulo Flores sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vacib Bartu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacib Bartu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dündar Ülkenur in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Jorge Figueiredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Jorge Figueiredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dündar Ülkenur to make the kick off. When Los Tatangelos's Dündar Ülkenur in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vacib Bartu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Los Tatangelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Donzel in the 74th minute of play. Dündar Ülkenur scored 3-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Dündar Ülkenur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Tatangelos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vacib Bartu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gürbüz Hendekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürbüz Hendekli in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Los Tatangelos were the better team. Los Tatangelos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
