Michel Vu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Camilo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silas Rokmann in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Vu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 24th minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Michel Vu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Michel Vu. GFG VOEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Michel Vu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silas Rokmann to make the kick off. GFG VOEL's Michel Vu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 74th minute of play.
