The audience was convinced that Jamar Vang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Eliya Tabachnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant got a free kick in the 44th minute. G.R.'s Guguh Saepuloh was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. When Eliya Tabachnik came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the G.R. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliya Tabachnik couldn't finish the play.
