The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, .......'s Murathan Olgunsoy got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ahmet Orhan Usal was a little too slow when Moises Fernandino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Murathan Olgunsoy threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, .......'s Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Zafer Erokay managed to get in a good position for a shot. .......'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zafer Erokay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, .......'s goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Ahmet Orhan Usal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. In the 75th play minute Zafer Erokay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Zorita. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Murathan Olgunsoy notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reha Vaha, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A hard shot by Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Ricardo Zorita's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match was over ....... could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
