Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jyrki Saarelainen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 13th minute, Alexandru Tudorică fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jyrki Saarelainen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Jyrki Saarelainen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 27th minute of the match Rovine Craiova got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcu Vârjean ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 30th minute Rovine Craiova were awarded a corner. Marcu Vârjean went to the cornerflag to take it. Manole Frunză received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Tudorică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Jyrki Saarelainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jyrki Saarelainen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Frunză came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Marcu Vârjean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rovine Craiova's Kacper Štilić got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rovine Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Simionescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Manole Frunză shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză managed to work through Venezuela's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Manole Frunză dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyrki Saarelainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Saarelainen in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jyrki Saarelainen came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Victor Negara made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Alexandru Tudorică scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manole Frunză hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Alexandru Tudorică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 97 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Mina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 97 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Marcu Vârjean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rovine Craiova had played much better football throughout.
