Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, FataMorgana's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Attilio Proia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to FataMorgana getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Biagio Guerra hit a great ball. The supporters of FataMorgana booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FataMorgana's Alessandro Ciscato got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ernesto Fantasia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FataMorgana's Attilio Proia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Biagio Guerra. 21 minutes into the game, Ernesto Fantasia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FataMorgana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 21st minute, Ernesto Fantasia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Proia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of the match. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. In the 30th minute of the match Camillo Tartaglia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st minute of the match, Biagio Guerra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 33 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Camillo Tartaglia who took care of the corner kick. In the 34th minute Ciccio Nazzari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciccio Nazzari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosimo Lucidi struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FataMorgana. Attilio Proia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciccio Nazzari made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Camillo Tartaglia came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FataMorgana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo Tartaglia couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the game, FataMorgana's Biagio Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. During the 61st minute of the match Biagio Guerra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Biagio Guerra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Attilio Proia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play forced FataMorgana's goalkeeper Attilio Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Nazzari in the 74th minute of the match. Ciccio Nazzari hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Attilio Proia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 78th minute of the match. Attilio Proia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Ciccio Nazzari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FataMorgana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Camillo Tartaglia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Fedele Sammartano's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedele Sammartano helped the player get up and apologised. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FataMorgana.
