Florentino Dunixi came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. In the 24th minute, Isidro Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA INCAS's goalkeeper Henric Gadd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Siro Amor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Eguntsenti in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Henric Gadd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of CA INCAS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jimeno Aurken fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA INCAS's protests and gave Jimeno Aurken a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes CA INCAS got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Aurken. 74 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goalkeeper Henric Gadd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Severino Ubendu with Florentino Dunixi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
