Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In a very dangerous position, a player in Överås BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mikael Vennerström. 0-1. In the 14th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Henric Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mikael Vennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Överås BK's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Vennerström came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Överås BK's Jan Jönsson got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mikael Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Mikael Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Överås BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Överås BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bengt Hedbom hit a great ball. Sven-Ove Hansson's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Ove Hansson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, one of Överås BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Överås BK. A collision led to Överås BK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sven-Ove Hansson hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Joel Gaona put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mikael Vennerström. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tobias Kellberg made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goalkeeper Mikael Vennerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Vennerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Andreas Bark kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Facundo Cadaval made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Vennerström. Överås BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mikael Vennerström could save by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Kellberg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Överås BK's Henric Magnusson. But to his dismay, Henric Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Sven-Ove Hansson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. A hard shot 92 in the game by Facundo Cadaval from a close distance when the talented Mikael Vennerström managed to make a qualified save. Överås BK's players were relieved. In the 94th minute Tobias Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström. Mikael Vennerström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
