Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armando Olayo kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes of play, CA INCAS's Rigoberto Inguma made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henric Gadd came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 17th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henric Gadd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Henric Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CA INCAS's Henric Gadd did a great save. Henric Gadd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 30th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henric Gadd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Henric Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when CA INCAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Aurken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henric Gadd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Henric Gadd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henric Gadd. CA INCAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CA INCAS's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henric Gadd came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Henric Gadd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goalkeeper Henric Gadd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Henric Gadd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henric Gadd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Amor in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. A hard shot 72 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Henric Gadd managed to make a qualified save. CA INCAS's players were relieved. 73 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Andino came free, but Henric Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henric Gadd was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-6. After having played for 89 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Henric Gadd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador played a much better game than CA INCAS and deserved their victory. The CA INCAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
