If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Kajetan Mazurkiewicz made a huge save. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS Ogórki throughout the match.
