The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Goel Glauberman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Luque in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hen Shukrun managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.R.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hen Shukrun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yotam Tamir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goel Glauberman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. G.R.'s Goel Glauberman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in G.R.'s zone, Abram Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goel Glauberman came out of the goal and Abram Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Goel Glauberman, 1-0. In the 30th minute, G.R.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moises Fernandino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yotam Tamir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.R.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Tamayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Eliashiv Dennon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goel Glauberman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Magrina. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. When Jesus Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jesus Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Salvador! Ricardo Zorita went to the wrong direction when Yotam Tamir was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Moises Fernandino scored 3-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Goel Glauberman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Moises Fernandino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Goel Glauberman was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After 89 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. After 92 minutes, Jedaiah Elishvili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.R. and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes G.R. got a freekick which was hit by Jedaiah Elishvili. When the referee ended the match the El Salvador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
