The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Andrei Ivan made the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Tomás Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Ali Cafer Konuralp however easily saved by the left post. In the 80th minute Serafino Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ali Cafer Konuralp. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. RED DEVIL made a substitution. Ruben Ubarna replaced Cosme Kismi. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Ubarna in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Baldovino who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Haroldo Baldovino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fernando Barreiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After a rather tough play, RED DEVIL's Ruben Ubarna got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RED DEVIL.
