Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Álmos Csáki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Álmos Csáki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 33rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antal Pádár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rapid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Rouco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Antal Pádár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when János Kónya tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Álmos Csáki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álmos Csáki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Álmos Csáki to strike the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Luca Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antal Pádár in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 57 minutes, Luca Zorita made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rapid's Antal Pádár tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Pádár didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Mexico booed when Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. László Újvári didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Antal Pádár successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Antal Pádár in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Pádár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 86th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antal Pádár having to interfere. Mexico played a much better game than Rapid and deserved their victory. The Rapid players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
