With a little luck, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Onur-Recep Kıvrak got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdi Eriş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Peru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Lanczak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute of the match. Benedykt Lanczak took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Yağız Macit replaced Anastasio Jurdan. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ahmet Harun Siraceddin was substituted for Mikayıl Malişov. Deng Jie Wei succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 66th playminute.
