The supporters of NK Ribar Rab booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Slavko Šunić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Christian Sancho in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NK Ribar Rab's Snješko Petrinović. Neno Klaić kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Slavko Šunić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 20th minute of play. When Bruno Iskra fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK Ribar Rab's protests and gave Bruno Iskra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NK Ribar Rab getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bruno Iskra hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slavko Šunić having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slavko Šunić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Ribar Rab's Slavko Šunić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slavko Šunić. Slavko Šunić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slavko Šunić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oton Valjak in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. NK Ribar Rab's Slavko Šunić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. NK Ribar Rab's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Slavko Šunić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moises Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Slavko Šunić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Slavko Šunić came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Villa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 86th minute.
