Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Moruga during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Henning Flink got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magni Buffone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magni Buffone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 12th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. In the 15th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henning Flink kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Flink in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Glemmingebro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Arenius to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 30th minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Magni Buffone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes in the game Efrain Moruga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Noboa. In the 36th minute, Henning Flink reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Henning Flink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Glemmingebro IF defense, Lautaro Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magni Buffone. The Glemmingebro IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magni Buffone should have stopped the shot. Glemmingebro IF made a substitution. Gustaf Hansson replaced Henning Flink. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gustaf Hansson made the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Hansson took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A collision led to Glemmingebro IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Arenius hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes Axel Tasis got an excellent opportunity and fired away a shot on goal, but Magni Buffone was perfectly placed and executed a great save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glemmingebro IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Glemmingebro IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Costa Rica:s goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Gustaf Hansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaf Hansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 77th minute, Alistair Brent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Glemmingebro IF's Kristian Arenstedt got a free kick in the 78th minute. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Magni Buffone managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Walter Bergström struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glemmingebro IF. Efrain Moruga made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aaron Alcocer.
