Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinos Tsounis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by PALLINI RULES's Viktoras Chronopoulos. But to his dismay, Viktoras Chronopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when PALLINI RULES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Kontodimos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of PALLINI RULES's Marinos Tsounis. Marinos Tsounis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PALLINI RULES's Lefteris Anagnostakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PALLINI RULES's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Axel Tasis scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marinos Tsounis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Menelaos Karatsolis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 31 minute of play. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefteris Anagnostakis in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Lefteris Anagnostakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALLINI RULES and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Lefteris Anagnostakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lefteris Anagnostakis in the 44th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. PALLINI RULES's Lefteris Anagnostakis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Sanz but with some difficulty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marinos Tsounis having to interfere. PALLINI RULES's Marinos Tsounis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 60th minute of play. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 61st minute. Menelaos Karatsolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menelaos Karatsolis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Viktoras Chronopoulos scored 4-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viktoras Chronopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Menelaos Karatsolis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter-Jan Maenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Menelaos Karatsolis came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Lautaro Puig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marinos Tsounis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, PALLINI RULES's Marinos Tsounis got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line.
