Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Virgilio Kennedy got the match started through his kick off. Virgilio Kennedy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 played minutes, Chard United's Lukasz Jazwiec shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chard United reached it. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Chard United's Santos Santio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Chard United from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Lamar Arthur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Chard United were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukasz Jazwiec took the corner. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Virgilio Kennedy scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Lukasz Jazwiec in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy in the 55th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Chard United's Martin Craven sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Martin Craven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chard United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 80th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. If Virgilio Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The Chard United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
