Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Mancinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Mancinelli. Alessandro Mancinelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 19th minute of play forced Gabbro FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Mancinelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Gabbro FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Mancinelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli. Alessandro Mancinelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Gabbro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 36 minutes of play, Gabbro FC's Edvard Slæggerup made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Edvard Slæggerup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alessandro Mancinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Mancinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gabbro FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Gabbro FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvard Slæggerup to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Slæggerup in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. If Wieslaw Wawro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alessandro Mancinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Gabbro FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Langsford. Alessandro Mancinelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Mancinelli having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gabbro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Slæggerup didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
