When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Madaleno made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Luca Espinar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro Vermudo. That made the score 0-7 after 52 minutes of play. Mauro Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Espinar in the 57th minute of the match. After 59th play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Mauro Vermudo and just under the crossbar into goal. 66 minutes in the game Milagros Cabal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Villa. In the 68th match minute, Social y Dep. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Vermudo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Luca Espinar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. 73 minutes into the match, Social y Dep. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Mauro Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonardo Orlondo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Social y Dep. Patagonia's protests and gave Leonardo Orlondo a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Sebastian Villa took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Mauro Vermudo to make any attempt to save it. Mauro Vermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Villa went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Vermudo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Mauro Vermudo threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Villa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Mauro Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 89th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-15 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Vermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Vermudo. Mauro Vermudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
