Menelaos Karatsolis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Menelaos Karatsolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Menelaos Karatsolis took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. When PALLINI RULES's Menelaos Karatsolis in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Herald Asselberghs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Menelaos Karatsolis to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Axel Tasis made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. PALLINI RULES's Marinos Tsounis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marinos Tsounis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of PALLINI RULES booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 71st minute of play forced PALLINI RULES's goalkeeper Marinos Tsounis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menelaos Karatsolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Menelaos Karatsolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Menelaos Karatsolis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marinos Tsounis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menelaos Karatsolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, PALLINI RULES's goalkeeper Marinos Tsounis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. PALLINI RULES walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
