Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bengt-Rune Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 7th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Eglynas booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğan Akbudun in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Eglynas's Doğan Akbudun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domas Jakštys during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domas Jakštys hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Doğan Akbudun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Doğan Akbudun made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doğan Akbudun made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Skirmantas Balinskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eglynas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Bengt-Rune Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Doğan Akbudun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğan Akbudun in the 67th minute of play. When Jogaila Enčius fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eglynas's protests and gave Jogaila Enčius a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Skirmantas Balinskas came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
