In the 75th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Büdlich-Breit and deserved their victory. The FC Büdlich-Breit players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
