Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Chard United booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Landrum hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Barry Rhoades but with some difficulty. In the 12th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Rhoades saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Barry Rhoades. Chard United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Chard United's Cruz Bartley got a free kick in the 19th minute. Barry Rhoades made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 20th minute. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Fischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Homer Fischer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Elijah Wiggins with Milton Riddle as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Seth McGrath came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Chard United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seth McGrath couldn't finish the play. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Barry Rhoades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Riddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Jacobo Nores successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Homer Fischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seth McGrath could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Homer Fischer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Elijah Wiggins in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Iker Tafalla. Seth McGrath struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chard United. Barry Rhoades showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Chard United getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Florian Patten hit a great ball. Elijah Wiggins might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elijah Wiggins ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Homer Fischer in the 89th minute. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Seth McGrath sent off a good shot on target. Paraguay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
