Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Joey. FC ARK CS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Lang in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC ARK CS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edgar Lang hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Joey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolas Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC ARK CS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

In the 78th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolas Joey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
