The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luca Rouco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Figueroa came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wei Chuan Xuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Wei Chuan Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 43rd minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Villanueva made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wei Chuan Xuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Delmiro Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Esportivo Saudade's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wei Chuan Xuan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 61st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalie and right to Alberto Tafalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Clube Esportivo Saudade's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Villanueva in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Villanueva in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Clube Esportivo Saudade made a substitution. Virgilio Ladra replaced Delmiro Figueroa. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponc Moreira in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Lucas Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wei Chuan Xuan could save by the left post. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Chuan Xuan having to interfere. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
