Assyriska-Syrianska's Torbjörn Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Assyriska-Syrianska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Telin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Örtendal in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Assyriska-Syrianska's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Torbjörn Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Örtendal scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 minutes, Per Örtendal made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
