The crowd rose to their feet as Gaztea Valensuela kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 10th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tao Cheng Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaztea Valensuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes EL RUSSO FC got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Donato. In the 22nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. EL RUSSO FC's Tao Cheng Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after EL RUSSO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Olgierd Prusek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Gaztea Valensuela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as EL RUSSO FC's Boruc Jaraczeski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 33 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Gaztea Valensuela made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Melquiades Garaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Gaztea Valensuela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 5-0. Maximino Fagildo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the EL RUSSO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aquilino Maties.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaztea Valensuela was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes EL RUSSO FC got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Donato. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tao Cheng Zhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EL RUSSO FC's Tao Cheng Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of play. Tao Cheng Zhi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gaztea Valensuela came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Gaztea Valensuela notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 69 minutes, Gaztea Valensuela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL RUSSO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaztea Valensuela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tao Cheng Zhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gaztea Valensuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gaztea Valensuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, EL RUSSO FC's Gaztea Valensuela got a free kick in the 74th minute. Tao Cheng Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when EL RUSSO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Luís Guilherme Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of EL RUSSO FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Aquilino Maties shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Garaona in the 94th minute of play. After 96 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aquilino Maties who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on EL RUSSO FC's corner Aquilino Maties fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball.
