The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauro Boselli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Filomeno Benedicto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Benedicto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Boselli's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Boselli in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Benedicto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Boselli in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Boselli in the 34th minute of play forced SISTRELLS's goalkeeper Filomeno Benedicto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SISTRELLS's Sheldon Cooper got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mauro Boselli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Benedicto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Mateo Primeiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Vellito could save by the left post. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Shuspendemo from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Boselli in the 40th minute of the match. Gaspar Ihazintu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. SISTRELLS's Filomeno Benedicto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Boselli in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes SISTRELLS got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Cheche. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Boselli made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Shuspendemo got a corner. SISTRELLS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Rivas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Shuspendemo's Lucas Rivas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filomeno Benedicto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anacleto Perpiñán charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Perpiñán the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SISTRELLS's Filomeno Benedicto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Boselli in the 56th minute of play. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Réda Kolb replaced Mauro Boselli. Shuspendemo's Diego Gerber was substituted for Mikolaj Biraga. Ismael Vellito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Réda Kolb recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filomeno Benedicto. Réda Kolb showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 64th minute Réda Kolb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Benedicto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Alcalde came free, but Ismael Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taavi Nikopensius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Taavi Nikopensius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Vellito was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Réda Kolb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Filomeno Benedicto made a huge save. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by SISTRELLS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Rivas was slow to take the kick. During this time Shuspendemo's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Brooks Willison heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

Shuspendemo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
