In the 65th minute Mihail Brânza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Donatello during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić. Dražen Ladić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 2-2. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Zheng Jing Feng started the play with his kick off. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Cerri in the 99th minute of play. Zheng Jing Feng struck a weak shot in the 103rd minute. Alexsandro Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT. In the 104th minute of the match, Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dražen Ladić saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 108th minute of the game.
