Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Grom in the 18th minute of play. When Rodrigo Platon fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalípticos & Caóticos's protests and gave Rodrigo Platon a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Apocalípticos & Caóticos got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Platon. Erasmo Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Grom in the 26th minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Grom came free, but Erasmo Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Edelmiro Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Grom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Loi having to interfere.
