With a little luck, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon got control of the ball when Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Levan Dost ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Leiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute Levan Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levan Dost in the 24th minute of play. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon got control of the ball when Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Farid Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolli Boll in the 33rd minute of play. LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levan Dost in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Arturo Zapolski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Farid Mondragon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 38 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's goal looked a bit too open when Levan Dost came free, but Thiago Leiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB got a corner. LEBEG Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Sedat Umut ran over to the corner to take the kick. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Ahmet Sedat Umut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Leiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vincent Kompany kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Zapolski made a kick off. Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB got a freekick which was hit by Levan Dost. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolli Boll in the 62nd minute of play. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
