In the 30th minute Allan Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudur Fitriansyah came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vince Di Cola could save by the left post. Timmy Henriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fernando Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Luiz Fernando Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tudur Fitriansyah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Luiz Fernando Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wu Qi's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Wu Qi sped through SuperChango's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Fernando Branco. 63 minutes into the game, Samurai's Timmy Henriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fernando Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Aaron Criston hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Max Verstappen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SuperChango's Luiz Fernando Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Bivall in the 72nd minute of play. Luiz Fernando Branco made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Timmy Henriksson sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Samurai's Timmy Henriksson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Fernando Branco. That made the score 0-5 after 76 minutes of play. Timmy Henriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Branco made a huge save. Timmy Henriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Fernando Branco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tudur Fitriansyah might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Di Cola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudur Fitriansyah ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 played minutes SuperChango got a freekick which was hit by Elói Chaves. SuperChango's Tudur Fitriansyah got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Aaron Criston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Bivall in the 91st minute of play forced SuperChango's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Samurai booed when SuperChango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SuperChango's zone, Wu Qi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Branco came out of the goal and Wu Qi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Samurai's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
