In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Mega's goalkeeper Federico Jaizki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Twierdza Osowiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaap Stam in the 15th minute. Federico Jaizki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kartal Başar in the 18th minute. Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Calvet in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's Kartal Başar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Jaizki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
