Oliver Petersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdis Felbergs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Valdis Felbergs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Rebelution's Oliver Petersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdis Felbergs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agustín Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Sauveur in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Rossi saved Rebelution from getting behind. Black horses's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toma Chinkov in the 36th minute. The corner led Black horses's Toma Chinkov to fire away a dangerous shot which Agustín Rossi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Chiquito Flores came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Rebelution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiquito Flores couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Flores in the 37th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes Black horses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leandro Mattin who took care of the corner kick. In the 40thth minute of the game Oliver Petersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black horses's Valdis Felbergs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Petersson in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, 김 감 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rebelution's Marcos Richie quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Petersson to make the kick off. Rebelution's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute Rebelution were awarded a corner. Americo Frascuelo went to the cornerflag to take it. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Sauveur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Ivo Männik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdis Felbergs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Sauveur in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Cipriano Sauveur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustín Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 89th minute of play forced Rebelution's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Valdis Felbergs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 92 minutes into the game, Rebelution's Dario Guib nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdis Felbergs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Guib in the 95th minute of play. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 3-3. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Black horses's Cipriano Sauveur started the play with his kick off. With the score at 3-3, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

Everyone could clearly see that both Rebelution's and Black horses's players was becoming tired in their legs when Rebelution's Ivo Männik did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. 119 minutes into the match, Black horses's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Petersson came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rebelution's zone, Cipriano Sauveur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal and Cipriano Sauveur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Männik in the 124th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juliusz Mosiniak kicked well hit freekick during the 129th minute of the match. In the 133rd match minute, Rebelution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Telmo to maneuver through the defense. With neither of the teams able to find a winning goal, the match would be decided by penalties!

In the 136th minute there was a penalty for Rebelution. Oliver Petersson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valdis Felbergs. 3-4. Agustín Rossi had in the 148thth minute some difficulties stopping Agustín Rossi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rebelution:s Agustín Rossi showed great skill when he stopped Mpenza Setlaba:s penalty. Rebelution's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
