The audience was convinced that Jefferson de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aguirre Verde was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson de Amaral in the 13th minute of play. Theo Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Christobal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Emil Plop in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen. Aguirre Verde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Theo Machado throw himself and got hold of the ball when Berker Sani in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The corner led DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Jürgen Fahlgren to a score. 1-0 in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Jefferson de Amaral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aguirre Verde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Cavalcante in the 28th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Aguirre Verde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berker Sani. Theo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berker Sani in the 32nd minute of the match. Anderson Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aguirre Verde having to interfere. Λstral Villains FC's Theo Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Λstral Villains FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Jefferson de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes DUBAI Palm Jumeirah got a freekick which was hit by Bass Duchateau. 45 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jefferson de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berker Sani was the one to do the kick off. Jefferson de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aguirre Verde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Aguirre Verde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Λstral Villains FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson de Amaral in the 64th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Aguirre Verde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Emil Plop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguirre Verde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Λstral Villains FC's Lars Holand was substituted for Jefferson de Amaral. Theo Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Fahlgren in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th minute, Lars Holand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aguirre Verde was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 89th match minute, Λstral Villains FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Trzemzalski to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Messias to maneuver through the defense. The Λstral Villains FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Λstral Villains FC's Lars Holand looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
