The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dorukhan Turalp got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ulises Manex. Thiago Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmo Jaanovits in the 11th minute of play. Elmo Jaanovits struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Thiago Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia FC. Walery Balkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Díaz in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goalkeeper Walery Balkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Manex. Simon Esquipula kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Academia FC's zone, Christiano Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Balkiewicz came out of the goal and Christiano Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Manex in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walery Balkiewicz saved Academia FC from getting behind. In the 36thth minute of the game Elmo Jaanovits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Błαck Bułłs MZ's Thiago Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goalkeeper Walery Balkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Manex. In the 40th minute of the match Błαck Bułłs MZ got a corner. Academia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christiano Moura ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Academia FC's Walery Balkiewicz got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Díaz tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Walery Balkiewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Caetano Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
