The ÓKINJÔ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gremio Viana's Fabrizio Crognale quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pang Ran Feng, made in the 15th minute of the game. Frits Sap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Gremio Viana were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute Joaquim Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Sap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Gremio Viana were awarded a corner. Augustin Panaiteanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ÓKINJÔ FC's goalie and right to Tony Påk. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ÓKINJÔ FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Frits Sap made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Carlos Luna sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Wu Ping Zhen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Samuel Fiúza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trond Hagen kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to ÓKINJÔ FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Trond Hagen hit a great ball.

The Gremio Viana supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gremio Viana would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
