In the 6th minute 孟振邦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when 孟振邦 came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match KFC Cromvelde got a corner. FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosmin Contra ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Eugenio Cirulli at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC Pegasas Siauliai. 1-0. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rūtenis Bračas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Romanescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Rūtenis Bračas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Louis Van Bever was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孟振邦 in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th minute 孟振邦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathijs Rokeloos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavel Romanescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Pavel Romanescu was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Mathijs Rokeloos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mathijs Rokeloos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Mathijs Rokeloos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Pavel Romanescu 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathijs Rokeloos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mathijs Rokeloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 55th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Mathijs Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孟振邦 in the 67th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Juras Tolvaiša in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KFC Cromvelde's Matthias Wauters. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 69th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Romanescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rūtenis Bračas in the 72nd minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Pegasas Siauliai defense, Mathijs Rokeloos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavel Romanescu. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Romanescu should have stopped the shot. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 孟振邦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernestas Alvinskas in the 83rd minute of the match. When FC Pegasas Siauliai's Ernestas Alvinskas, in the 83rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Pegasas Siauliai. 孟振邦 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jean-Louis Van Bever came out and tried to block the shot, but 孟振邦 slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 85th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孟振邦 in the 89th minute of play.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KFC Cromvelde had won after a very even match.
