Spectators: 527 (Terracing: 396, Seating: 121, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tibor Surovec kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragan Horčička to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Davide Rinaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herta Budino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Rinaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tibor Surovec in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Sangermano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fortunato Sangermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Pirok in the 16th minute of the match. Davide Rinaldi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dezider Šindelka having to make a save. Tibor Surovec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fortunato Sangermano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goal looked a bit too open when Dragan Horčička came free, but Fortunato Sangermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achille Di Crescenzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dezider Šindelka made a huge save. Dezider Šindelka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dezider Šindelka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleanthis Zoumakis in the 33rd minute of play. When Bohuslav Chlubna fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Bohuslav Chlubna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bohuslav Chlubna hit a great ball. Dezider Šindelka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 44th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Dezider Šindelka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davide Rinaldi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dezider Šindelka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Karásek came free, but Fortunato Sangermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Barcelona's Dezider Šindelka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 59th minute of play. FC Barcelona's Anton Chlup was substituted for Jan Plocek. FC Barcelona's Blažej Janalík was substituted for Petr Kocek. After 62 minutes FC Barcelona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fábio Grosso who took care of the corner kick. Anton Chlup hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Herta Budino's Virgílio Furtado was substituted for Achille Di Crescenzo. The supporters of Herta Budino booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Chlup didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Herta Budino's Pedro Velasco got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dezider Šindelka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dezider Šindelka was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Fábio Grosso kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Herta Budino getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Davide Rinaldi hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Davide Rinaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dezider Šindelka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 98th minute Virgílio Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dezider Šindelka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was FC Barcelona's Andrej Karásek that got to make the kick off. Kleanthis Zoumakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 101st minute of the match, but Dezider Šindelka made a huge save. Boleslav Lacko kicked well hit freekick during the 106th minute of the match. 106 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's Fábio Grosso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dezider Šindelka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Dezider Šindelka got control of the ball when Virgílio Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. 112 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Karásek came free, but Fortunato Sangermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Virgílio Furtado did a quick kick off. 126 minutes into the match, Dragan Horčička notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano. Fortunato Sangermano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The FC Barcelona supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Barcelona would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
