Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孙鸿鹏 in the 20th minute of play. Thomás Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 孙鸿鹏's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Oliveiro Gijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 24th minute of play. Pan Zhi Peng made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Sousa. 29 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Oliveiro Gijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Daniel Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Oliveiro Gijon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when 孙鸿鹏 came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, 孙鸿鹏 made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Carpasús FC - FDC's 孙鸿鹏 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 54 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Oliveiro Gijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliveiro Gijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Carpasús FC - FDC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rui Deco hit a great ball. Carpasús FC - FDC's Oliveiro Gijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 59th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Pan Zhi Peng managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Oliveiro Gijon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliveiro Gijon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carpasús FC - FDC's Xavieon Charro was substituted for Şakir Bilgen. Carpasús FC - FDC's Herbert Walmarsson was substituted for Ulryk Prosowski. Thomás Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by 孙鸿鹏 in the 79th minute. The throw-in from Jeison Murillo in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Capibaribe Stars's Hicham Al Azka. Oliveiro Gijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Sousa in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliveiro Gijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliveiro Gijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Daniel Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Capibaribe Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Sousa couldn't finish the play. Daniel Sousa scored 3-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliveiro Gijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孙鸿鹏, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Capibaribe Stars had won after a very even match.
