Vasco Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dobri Koks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Mitovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mieszko Borkowski in the 20th minute. When Levent Hicran came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the San Mauro A Mare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levent Hicran couldn't finish the play. When Zbigniew Limanowski fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Mauro A Mare FC's protests and gave Zbigniew Limanowski a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, Edílson Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rogério Mitovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Levent Hicran might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dobri Koks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Levent Hicran ran back to his position shaking his head. Dobri Koks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The throw-in from Abel Caitano in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fifth Chicken's Herbert Bobrowski. Levent Hicran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edílson Souza made the kick off in the second half. Fifth Chicken's Dobri Koks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Fifth Chicken from getting a goal against them. Augusto Riso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobri Koks having to interfere. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Dinu Dobre replaced Francesco Cremonese. If Augusto Riso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fifth Chicken's Waldemar Tipinski was substituted for Mieszko Borkowski. San Mauro A Mare FC's Fan Liang Chong was substituted for Augusto Riso. Rogério Mitovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Tipinski in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Levent Hicran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobri Koks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes San Mauro A Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Caitano. Fifth Chicken made a substitution. Kazimierz Siekierski replaced Herbert Bobrowski. After a rather tough play, San Mauro A Mare FC's Abel Caitano got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Waldemar Tipinski fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fifth Chicken's protests and gave Waldemar Tipinski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Mauro A Mare FC booed when Fifth Chicken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Tipinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Mitovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edílson Souza in the 81st minute of play. Rogério Mitovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Tipinski in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Tipinski in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Mitovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Krzysztof Wodaszak hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Waldemar Tipinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fifth Chicken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. San Mauro A Mare FC's Rogério Mitovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Tipinski in the 96th minute of play.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fifth Chicken fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Mauro A Mare FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
