After a rather tough play, GFG VOEL's Wiliam dos Santos got a free kick in the 9th minute. Marcos Fantini's late challenge caught a GFG VOEL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiliam dos Santos to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richart Richardsson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonni Fjøle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes GFG VOEL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valter Malekin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Valter Malekin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sonni Fjøle quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sonni Fjøle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richart Richardsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The México Eterno MZC fans cheered their team off the field, for while GFG VOEL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
