The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tonio Bergada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Stor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Józef Mlynarczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's Anak Selby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Józef Mlynarczyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Begu Ganjang were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Deportivo Pucho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Aurelianu took the corner. Ahmet Harun Alptekin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Anak Selby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Józef Mlynarczyk made a huge save. If Julio Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anak Selby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Józef Mlynarczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Józef Mlynarczyk was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Anak Selby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anak Selby really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pucho from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Claudio-Paul Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Bergada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tonio Bergada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 23rd minute of play. Anak Selby received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Józef Mlynarczyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Anak Selby slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Begu Ganjang's Wieslaw Smuskiewicz got a free kick in the 31st minute. Begu Ganjang's Tonio Bergada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Eneko in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Begu Ganjang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Smuskiewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Archie Litchfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Bergada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belcho Drúndev hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Stor came free, but Tonio Bergada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anak Selby was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Begu Ganjang got a corner. Deportivo Pucho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Aurelianu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's Anak Selby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Józef Mlynarczyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tonio Bergada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Nesefi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Pucho's Tonio Bergada threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Nasir Nesefi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But to his dismay, Ahmet Nasir Nesefi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anak Selby in the 73rd minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Begu Ganjang's Ponaryo Mangindaan was substituted for Manuel Aurelianu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Jerico during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pucho's Delmar Jerico got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Ahmet Harun Alptekin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Józef Mlynarczyk skillfully saved the ball. Begu Ganjang's Tonio Bergada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Begu Ganjang from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute Sebastian Cipău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Begu Ganjang's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Harun Alptekin in the 99th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Harun Alptekin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Józef Mlynarczyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Pucho players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Begu Ganjang.
