After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Hakkı Kenan Pınar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Åke Källberg came out of the goal and Hakkı Kenan Pınar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the game, Hakkı Kenan Pınar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jens-Åke Källberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Popchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Torgny Landin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Velimir Popchev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. VN Keleler made a substitution. Harris Zoolingen replaced Doychin Konsulov. Seyit Bozbey came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jens-Åke Källberg could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harris Zoolingen got free with Jens-Åke Källberg in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Stuart Byman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Åke Källberg was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harris Zoolingen in the 70th minute of play. Jens-Åke Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Byman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hakkı Kenan Pınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Harry Hedling replaced Dimitris Panagiotakis. Boca Juniors's Oscar Lindholm was substituted for Özkan Kayaer. Hakkı Kenan Pınar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jens-Åke Källberg made a huge save. VN Keleler's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
