FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Piotr Michna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Enegren in the 15th minute of play. During the 17th minute of the match Olov Valrot completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olov Valrot a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hurşit Üke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Michna in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of FC POLMOTOR TCZEW booed when Rörvik BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 109th minute, Hieronim Michna managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's supporters rose to their feet, but Hieronim Michna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hurşit Üke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With the score at 1-1, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

Defensive play by both the teams in the second half of extra-time meant the match finished 1-1. The game would now be decided on penalties.

Rörvik BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
