Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lionel Paly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ciro da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lionel Paly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Kruuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Johannes Kruuse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lionel Paly was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fırat Aytekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Curtiz Klein got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ivan Dové. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tory Pryor to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Johannes Kruuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lionel Paly was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Paly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tomé da Silva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Curtiz Klein in the 70 minute of the game. When S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Evandro Trancoso in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Corinthians Paulista's Cícero Dionísio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Georges Gladu, made in the 80th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehdi Brasselet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pirmin Jäggi came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fırat Aytekin could save by the left post. 95 minutes into the game, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Zuberoa Ezquerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lionel Paly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1.

S.C. Corinthians Paulista were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Wil 1900 for a fine match.
